One last step....

For him life's always been easy... Whether it was toys, video games, clothes, money it all came easy. 
Primary school he breezed through average student
High school he was a little above average
Yet up to this day he has always just settled for what he could get...
Never striving for anything more... never putting in any effort...
That was when he was a boy...he just got by
He took that first step as a baby, recieved that High School Diploma, and all of that time Pops stood before him.
Now Pops is gone, the man that he looked up to..

Now its time for him to take that final step
To truly become a Man and take the place of those before him

So as he begins his march,,
He just asks his Pops to look down upon in, watch him one last time,
Because now he moves to cross that bridge,
To workhard, overcome all odds, no longer settling for mediocrity.
